In addition to pumpkin and pear, this soup contains turmeric, a spice that is also known as turmeric and has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, especially when combined with black pepper.
Ingredients:
½ onion; 300g pumpkin; 250g cauliflower; 1 large carrot; 2 pears; 1.5 liters of boiling water; 2 tablespoons of olive oil; 2 teaspoons of salt; ¼ teaspoon of powdered turmeric or turmeric; Black pepper to taste.Preparation method:
Start by cutting the vegetables into pieces;
In a large pan, sauté the onion, pumpkin, cauliflower and carrot in olive oil for about 5 minutes, also adding salt;
Add the boiling water and let it cook for around 20 minutes, with the lid slightly open;
Add the pears, turmeric powder and black pepper and cook for another 10 minutes or until all the vegetables have softened;
Remove from the heat, pass through a magic wand (*) and it is ready to serve.
Note: If you want a more liquid texture, add more boiling water when grinding the vegetables with the blender.
