Christmas is just around the corner and worries about all the gifts we have to buy are already starting to hover in our heads. Traffic to enter the mall , endless queues, heat, hunger. This is all part of the day we decide to buy Christmas presents. Therefore, if you are unable to prioritize online shopping, it is important to have some strategies on your side that facilitate the process. We've thought of some tricks so you don't feel like running away from the mall during the Christmas shopping saga. Continue reading to discover them.
1. Call an uber or taxi.
To avoid traffic queues and the headaches of not having anywhere to park your car, it's best to go and return by Uber or taxi. There's no need to worry, just call! It's extra money that you spend but ends up paying off.
2. Make lists.
Don't go to the stores like a dizzy cockroach! There is nothing better than organizing ourselves. Take a list with what you want to buy to offer each person and possible stores where you can find what you are looking for. You just have to start at one end and finish at the other, without wasting time (and patience) on things that don't matter.
3. Go exactly when the stores open.
Most people, because they want to have plenty of time to feel comfortable while choosing gifts, don't go close to closing time. This seems like a good trick to avoid queues and confusion, taking into account that, initially, at the later hour there won't be many people inside the stores.
On the other hand, going to stores exactly at the same time they open can also save you more time, avoiding queues.
4. Take food with you.
After the rush, it is normal for hunger to appear. Don't be tempted to eat at the mall and end up spending more money than you're supposed to. Take with you a piece of fruit or another snack that you like.
5. Bring fresh clothes.
We are practically in winter. However, inside the stores, the heat increases. Dress warmly to get to the mall, but bring cooler clothes underneath so you can take them off when the heat arrives.
6. Buy extra chocolates.
We've all forgotten to buy a gift for someone and didn't know what to do at the last minute. Buy two or three boxes of chocolates so that if you forget someone, you have something to offer as a resource.
7. Raise money .
Sometimes the ATM may not be working and there may be no ATM near you. Take money raised with you, it will save you a few marathons at the mall. However, always remember to have hand sanitizer nearby after making your payments.
8. Prioritize online shopping .
During a pandemic, it is best to avoid going to commercial spaces to do your shopping. There is an online Universe entirely at your disposal, where you can find everything you are looking for. Make your purchases in advance so there are no delays in deliveries.
