Apart from issues related to fertility, the reality is that when we do not ovulate, our production of progesterone (a hormone essential for the development of healthy breast tissue, regular menstruation and normal flow) ends up being compromised. Therefore, it is important that there is a balance between the two key hormones in our cycle – estrogen and progesterone.

Remember that ovulation usually occurs around the 14th day of a 28-day menstrual cycle. But be careful: we are all different and this is not an absolute truth. Not everyone has a 28-day cycle, which means there may be some variation here.
